After my enjoyable reading experience with Pamela Clare's Ride the Fire, I was told that I simply must read Surrender. I really enjoyed the setting for this romance novel. It reminded me a bit of Gabaldon's Outlander series. But the resemblence to those books ended at the setting.I also thought the plot was rather interesting, up to a point.
