Commentary During Books Huntress (Night World #7)
Blood FeverJez Redfern is unique. She's a vampire hunter... who's half vampire. Raised in the Redfern family, the girl with fiery hair and silvery-blue eyes was the undisputed leader of a gang of vampire raiders. Then came the discovery that shattered her life-- her mother was a human. Now, Jez hunts her former friends, protecting humans from the Night World.
But when Circle Daybreak sends her on a search for one of the legendary Wild Powers, Jez has to rejoin her old gang. They want her back-- especially Morgead, the gorgeous green-eyed vampire who used to be her second-in-command. Jez wants to stay faithful to Hugh Davis, the human she loves. But Morgead swears he's her soulmate and he'll do anything to lure her back to the old ways. With danger and temptation around, Jez finds herself irresistibly drawn to him. And she's afraid that if she tastes blood again, she'll become the evil huntress she once was...

Source: I own a bind up books 7-9 of this series. Cost: Free gift Title: Huntress Series: Night World #7 Author: LJ Smith Overall Rating: 4 stars I really liked this one, at first I wasn't sure because I'm kind of becoming cynical when it comes to love stories, especially in paranormal books as it tends to be a love story between an alpha and an omega figure. However, Jez and Morgead were both strong main characters which I really enjoyed, it definitely added to the story rather than take4 Star Read: The plot is good and the writing is excellent, it is the start of the books concerning Wild Powers. Anyone who likes unexpected surprises, it has a twist in the end and the one in the beginning. Among some of my favorites. Outstanding literary work. The characters are well developed, interesting. The liked characters are likable and the hated are unlikable. The writing is captivating enough to keep you interested until the end and leave you wanting more. It has a fairly original or

Oh! This one was even better. I loved the way that the books are connected with each other. Lisa Jane Smith must be a great storyteller because her imagination is making me twist in my seat and wonder what will happen next in the series. This book is the story of Jez, a half-vampire half-human creature, who when learns about her mixed origins decides to leave from her gang because she knows that they will kill her if they find out what she is. But as the end of the World comes closer, old
28 May 2019Huntress is book 7 in the Night World series.Another of my most favourites! We find out about the 4 Wild Powers. I remember reading this book for the first time and trying to figure who the Wild Power might be.
I have this thing when it comes to Young Adult books, their premises and cover art especially. I think I have more fun imagining who it will appeal to and how. There's always this imagined reader in my head, typically a teenage girl who feels as if she's on the brink of something, about to reach the edge of her power, her passion, her beauty. As if this next book is the one that will unveil the world hidden from her till now, and the reality of who she is. Books have always been about discovery
oh man, i love this one. the rest of the series is pretty good, but the end of the world stuff is just an awesome story, and i love how ljs tells it. (well, except for the ending. since it doesn't exist. still. 13 years later.) but seriously, i still have notebooks from high school with the prophecies and speculation scribbled all over them. there was probably a whole section of the lj smith SAT (yes, my best friend and i created a standardized test) devoted to it.PLUS jez and morgead are my
