Relation As Books Raze (Scarred Souls #1)
To take back life, one must first face death...One man stripped of his freedom, his morals...his life.
Conditioned in captivity to maim, to kill and to slaughter, prisoner 818 becomes an unremorseful, unrivaled and unstoppable fighter in the ring. Violence is all he knows. Death and brutality are the masters of his fate.
After years of incarceration in an underground hell, only one thought occupies his mind: revenge...bloody, slow and violent revenge.
Revenge on the man who lied.
Revenge on the man who wronged him.
Revenge on the man who condemned him and turned him into this: a rage-fueled killing machine. A monster void of humanity; a monster filled with hate.
And no one will stand in the way of getting what he wants.
One woman stripped of her freedom, her morals...her life.
Kisa Volkova is the only daughter of Kirill ‘The Silencer’ Volkov, head of the infamous ‘Triad’ bosses of New York's Russian Bratva. Her life is protected. In reality, it’s a virtual prison. Her father’s savage treatment of his rivals and his lucrative and coveted underground gambling ring—The Dungeon—ensures too many enemies lurk at their door.
She dreams to be set free.
Kisa has known only cruelty and loss in her short life. As manager of her father’s death match enterprise, only grief and pain fill her days. Her mafia boss father, in her world, rules absolute. And her fiancĂ©, Alik Durov, is no better; the Dungeon’s five-time champion, a stone-cold killer, the treasured son of her father’s best friend, and her very own—and much resented—personal guard. Unrivaled in both strength and social standing, Alik controls every facet of Kisa’s life, dominates her every move; keeps her subdued and dead inside...then one night changes everything.
While working for her church—the only reprieve in her constant surveillance—Kisa stumbles across a tattooed, scarred, but stunningly beautiful homeless man on the streets. Something about him stirs feelings deep within her; familiar yet impossibly forbidden desires. He doesn’t talk. Doesn’t communicate with anyone. He’s a man beyond saving, and a man she must quickly forget...for both their sakes.
But when weeks later, out of the blue and to her complete surprise, he’s announced as the replacement fighter in The Dungeon, Kisa knows she’s in a whole lot of trouble. He’s built, ripped and lethally unforgiving to his opponents, leaving fear in his wake and the look of death in his eyes.
Kisa becomes obsessed with him. Yearns for him. Craves his touch. Needs to possess this mysterious man...this man they call Raze.

Book Raze Author Tillie ColePublication Date December 30, 2014 Genre Dark Romance Type Stand Alone Cliffhanger No Rating 4 out of 5 Stars Own a copy. My Thoughts - Story If you had to ask me one word to describe this book, it would be:ADDICTIVEOnce I picked it up and got through the first 50 or so pages, I was hooked(line and sinker). Yes, there were a few things I found a bit over the top but shitwe are reading about fantasies herenot what is going on outside our front door. There areWarning: this book contains graphic and confronting themes which may disturb some readers. Recommended for 18+ only. They were always meant to be together, one boy and one girl, two hearts split into two, sent to far-off lands on their own. For God wanted to see if true love could be tested. He wanted to see if two halves of one soul could find each other again, even against the odds." Wow! What a story. Tillie Cole really knows how to deliver a dark and twisted romance. I am absolutely in awe
★★★★ 4 Stars ★★★★ Intense is the first word that springs to mind when describing this book and I have a thing for big brooding men who exude dangerous so it was definitely something that I knew I was going to love, plus it's written by Tillie Cole who just happens to be on my list of authors that I will automatically read.Raze has been imprisoned since he was a boy, a death match fighter who is under the rule of the Georgians. His memory blocked and his emotions erased, he is a fighting machine

I'm not usually a romance fan. I can read them and sometimes I get a wild hair up my butt and even search them out. This book was being read by most of my romance fan friends and it caught my attention.I'm actually glad it did. It's actually some pretty dark stuff...and of course I liked it. 818 aka Raze was thrown into a prison at a young age. That sounds not so bad doesn't it? Bullshit. He is raped, tortured, injected with drugs and made to fight to the death..over 600 times. He has no memories
4 stars!Even though this is only the second book Ive read from Tillie Cole, I can already see what a versatile writer she is. I mean this in a good way but never in a million years did I expect the author of Sweet Fall a highly emotional and poignant NA romance to come up with a gritty and twisted mafia romance like this one. Though there were a few hiccups along the way, this book was INTENSE from start to finish. There is something special about this authors writing that is just gripping and
5+ Can I have you stars! Their love story began on the day she was born. Tillie Cole has been that author for me this year. Every year it seems, there is one author that comes out of nowhere and I am just completely taken by their books. I have read 6 Tillie Cole books this year, and 3 of them have made it on my top favorite lists. Her writing is addictive, her stories are so different from one another, yet all unbelievably good. This book was her most raw and gritty book yet. It was down
11/12/15: Re-Read for Reap...because I started it and was like "What fuckery is this again?" Need a refresher...3 Predictable StarsSo I am definitely in the minority on this one. While it was definitely a decent read, I just didn't love it. It was simply......in my opinion anyway.Raze was hot. But Kisa was kind of flat and boring in my opinion.Much like this pencil. She just kind of went along with whichever way the "wind" blew. No matter who was blowing it. Mainly though, the story was just too
