Write Up Regarding Books Being Jamie Baker (Jamie Baker #1)
The book trailer worked for this one! Sold me hook line and sinker, which is total first. I hadnt read a review, I hadnt seen a promo - I just saw that trailer. So good job Being Jaime Baker designers, film minions and creative personnel! After reading the book, though, how could they not have made a trailer that rocked it? The book was a great mix of candy coated emotions, touching, funny, a bit edgy, and all together entertaining. I really expected a future ABC Family made for TV movie and

Okay, yes, I'm a guy and this book is very pink, so let me give you a quick frame of reference: I like romance/relationship stories, and I can get just as excited about a good chick flick as I can about the next James Bond film. I enjoy all forms of "Pride & Prejudice", Sandra Bullock rom/coms, and I really enjoyed reading "Twilight" until the end, when it tried to become an action flick (I didn't even read the last fifty pages). As for YA books, "The Hunger Games" is my favorite (I don't

Jamie Baker's life is split into two sections. Her BA which is before the accident, she was Miss Popular, a cheerleader and the ultimate pretty and peppy girl and had a great group of friends and an awesome boyfriend Derek. The second half of her life called AA - which is After Accident was like a personality switch had been turned on. Jamie Baker was not the same girl she had been before the accident. In fact, she should have been dead like her boyfriend. However, Jamie turned superheroine like

So, I'm a young working mother with NO time to get sucked-in to new books. I though I'd read the first page and then see what happens. Of course for the next 24 hours I was sitting under a lamp in a snuggie, giggling to myself, with my kid in the other room glued to FINDING NEMO and my husband practically starving to death. This book was a refreshing change of pace from most young adult books that can seem rather sensored and vanilla. It's wit and sass makes it exciting without the four letter
