عرفت عن هذا الكتاب عندما كنت أقرأ رواية "طيران فوق عش الواقواق" حيث علمت أن رواية اسمها انتفاضة المشانق متوافرة ضمن سلسلة ذاكرة الشعوببحثت عن الرواية فلم أجد لها نسخة ورقية أو الكترونيةفقررت استعارتها من مكتبة الجامعة الأردنيةوقرأتها الرواية ممتعة جدًا وذات أبعاد فلسفية عميقة ويكفي قراءة تحليل المحرر إلياس خوري لمعرفة مدى الإبداع فيهاولكن الشيء المحزن أن هذه الرواية هي الجزء الخامس من ستة أجزاء وهي الجزء الوحيد المترجمربما أترجم يومًا ما الأجزاء الخمسة الباقيةعمومًا رواية ممتعة ومشوقة وأنصحUna narración del todo intensa. Primera novela bilingüe que se publicó al mismo tiempo en inglés. :0Esta historia era una obligatoria de parte de mi escuela. Yo la verdad casi no tomo lecturas acerca de lo mexicano, no porque no quiera, sino porque nunca me han dado curiosidad o los mencionan. Siempre nos hablan de la historia muy formal, muy tierna vaya, no nos muestran esta parte cruda de lo que sucedía a las personas, en especial de los indígenas. As the title suggests, this fifth book in Traven's "Jungle" series is the one in which the monteria workers finally rebel. As usual with Traven, there's a lot of vivid detail and some very exciting sequences. However, in this case, there are also more flaws than usual. For instance, the moral view has become a little too black and white - every overseer is a brutal sadist, while every worker is an innocent victim.
