One of the things I love about this series of books is the coming home feeling I get when I slip between the pages. It doesn't matter how long it has been since I last picked up a book it still feels comfortable and inviting. We are far enough through the series that the main characters feel like friends and you have a true sense of knowing them. And while it's nice that Tiernan adds in new characters to mix things up a little, she also takes the time to flesh out the existing characters too. We

Still love this one. The thing with Ciaran was pretty obvious but cool none the less. I don't like Alisa at all and I have a feeling tht she's bad news even if she doesn't know it. Morgan's parents are annoying the crap out of me. After hiding something from her all her life how do they have the right to try and force their beliefs on her and stop her from practicing Wicca? I can see where this is going and I'm not impressed. I also am just annoyed at the lack of creativity character wise. The whole best friends split up by a guy and then become enemies? I don't want to read stories about characters like that. Where are the positive messages? Who thought it would be a good idea to write about girls stabbing each other in the back, parents being unsupportive, and a man being the center of a woman's life? I dislike authors who do not give young adults honest,
